Gentle, Expert Pediatric Care for Your Baby’s First Weeks

Welcome to Parenthood!
At Health Care for Children, we understand that those first few weeks with your newborn are filled with questions, excitement, and new routines. Our experienced pediatric team provides gentle, thorough care to help your baby grow healthy and strong — and to give you confidence every step of the way.

Your Baby’s First Visits

We usually see newborns within a few days after leaving the hospital, then again around two weeks of age. These early visits help us:

  • Check your baby’s weight, feeding, and sleep patterns
  • Screen for jaundice and other common newborn conditions
  • Review safe sleep, car seat, and home safety
  • Talk through your baby’s developmental milestones
  • Answer all your questions — no rush, no judgment

Tip: Have the hospital fax your discharge summary before your visit.

Why Families Trust Our Newborn Care

  • Experienced, board-certified pediatricians who love caring for newborns
  • Compassionate support for new parents — we take time to listen
  • On-call access for urgent concerns
  • Lactation support and feeding guidance available in-clinic
  • Seamless continuity into well-child visits and immunizations (when applicable)

From those first sleepy smiles to your baby’s first laugh — we’re honored to be part of your journey.
