Frequently Asked Questions
Appointments
How do I schedule or reschedule?
Call (816) 792-1170 or use our online “Request an Appointment” form for new patients. Existing families should call so our team can match the right provider and appointment type.
What if my child gets sick after hours?
Call our nurse triage line — we’ll help determine if your child can wait until morning, visit urgent care, or go to the ER.
How soon can my child be seen for a sick visit?
We offer same-day and next-day appointments whenever possible. Sick kids can’t wait!
Insurance & Billing
Why did I get two charges for one visit?
Insurance companies treat well-child and sick visits as two different appointment types, even when they occur on the same day. To avoid extra costs, we schedule these visits separately.
Prescriptions
How do I request a refill?
Call during office hours or use your pharmacy’s electronic refill request system.
Forms & School Notes
How do I get sports or school forms completed?
