Alexandria (Alex) Wasinger joined the team of devoted pediatric practitioners at Health Care for Children because of her desire to give back to the community she grew up in. She has lived in the northland most of her life and graduated from St. Pius X High School.
She then went on to become a nurse at Children’s Mercy specializing in children that require care for kidney problems, liver problems, and physical rehabilitation. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified in Pediatric Primary Care awarded by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She practiced as a nurse practitioner at Children’s Mercy and now has the incredible opportunity to return home and serve her community. In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys.
